Well, I'm off the methotrexate until after the cardiac catheterization on
Tuesday.  Should be a long week.  Maybe it's all in my head, but I find
that a dose of MTX is good for about six days so I don't look forward to a
week and a half interruption.  Maybe he'll find something to fix.  I'll
let you know.

Hi Sy,,,,  You are in my prayers today and may your doctors and nurses have
their best day.   They do this a lot now and it is not too big of a deal.
Soo please give us an update when its all done and tell us all about it.

The funny part is that I have been telling doctors for four or five years
that I had a small heart attack while towing a small child across a river
in an innetube.  The child was in the inner tube, not the river.  Nobody
believed me until someone asked for an echo cardiogram for someting else.
Now they belive me.  I feel wonderfully vincated.  Now, if he can find
something to fix I will be pleased.  If not, then all this has been for
nothing and I won't feel any better.  Pooh.

I always pray "Please let them find something fixable." I get so tired of
the other kind.

Hi James,,,,   All of us have to make choices in this life.   You know that
child would not of made it in that tube.   That child may be grown up now
and you can enjoy finding out how he/she is doing without telling this
person why.   You can enjoy your choice.   It was also your  choice not to
get the best of care right after this happened and that happens to be
something you will live with.
In my world you made a good choice for the child.

Thanks for the vore of confidence, but the truth is the little girl would
have been fine,  She would have floated down to the inch deep rapids over
which she could walk easly.  The only problem was that she was afraid and
only agreed to go if I was with her.  At a certain point I was holding on
to her tube for my own reasons.  As for choosing the medical care, theis
was in Anderson,, Missouri and I would have had to drive to Fayetteville
of Joplin to get any attention.  Here in Sun City, Arizona doctors are
more common.

I hear you - I was the same way when I was taking mtx, even when I was on
another DMARD as well.  I hope it isn't TOO difficult for you.  And may he
find something to fix - and something whose fix won't be too much of a trial
for you.
