First off a question.

I am adrenal today again so I can't figure this out.

I have to sign this form and send it back so I can get help with meds.

I can't figure out what they are saying in this sentence. So If someone
could help me see the light here I would apprecite it.

Well actually I will write the other sentence above it too because now I am
really confused.

I understand that all personal identifying information obtained by ---- in
response to this application , will be used by --- and its authorized agents
solely to administer the program and will not be used or disclosed for any
other purposes except as may be required or permitted by applicable law.

(so here I am reading this to mean they won't give my info to anyone else
except the law, is that right)

then second sentence that I didnt understand.

I understand that information provied to ----pursuant to this authorization
may no longer be protected under Health Insurance Portability and
Accountability Act and may, therefore be redisclosed.

(so here they are saying they will give out my info to others, is that what
I am reading)

Thanks for helping me, I am so brain dead and this is not making sense.

Heya, Squishy,

See it's like this. When it comes to your drugs it's just 'sposed to be
you, the MD and the Pharmacist that has your info. Under HIPPA no one else
is 'sposed to have access to your Rx info.

What you're saying by signing is to heck with that in this instance and
this agency that will help pay for my meds. is allowed access to my Rx info.
But no other agency get it...just this one and for the purpose of helping to
pay.

That's all. So sign and sleep sound about it. They gotta have the access
to your Rx info in order to help pay for it is all, Ol' Lady.

Hugs from Rosie

Rosie,

ok thanks for explaining that to me. I thought they would give out medical
info on me.

I am going to have to up my pred to the 20 mg I guess like the dr said. I
had another addisons episode today. They are coming to close together now.
So I couldn't function. I put on a bit of coritsol cream and it stopped it
in about 1/2 hour. So I know it is the addisons for sure now.

So thanks to the old one that is just one year behind me and gaining. ;-)
