SJ, I think it was you that asked about the scan. It is nuculear medicine.
I went in on Monday and got an injection of it into a vein. Went back on
Wednesday and my body was scanned. Also back on Thursday where it was
scanned again. About 10 or 15 minutes got me in and out. The scan was
looking for infection in my lungs, and the medicine had to have time to
circulate before the scans were done.
Gwen
oh ok, do you have to be careful because of the injection into the vein.
Kind of like when they do the one for thyroid where you can't be around
people or stuff like that.
Sorry I am asking so many questions but I don't know what they do with this
and if I don't ask I will never learn anything new.
I just helped a friend with info about dercums. Just because one of my
friends has it. Her dr didn't even have info on it for her or really know
that much about it. She asked me how do you know this stuff, I said I have
friends that have this stuff and I learned from them. ;-)
I sure hope you get good results from the scan results. I hope it is nothing
serious.
