The wig arrived here this week and here is a picture of me in it. You'll
notice my cheeks are red because my rosacea doesn't like chemotherapy.

dee tee, i love it!!!!! is it very hot? since i am rapidly losing my
hair, i think about wigs all the time but i can barely tolerate the
heat of a hat.

you really look good, sweetie. your cheeks have a rosy healthy glow to
them and the hair is adorable. what does bob think?

No, it's not at all hot. It just feels like I'm wearing a hat. I got it from
tlc - the Cancer Society site....www.tlcdirect.org. Check them out.
Bob loves it.

You could get a black or red one too.  You will have to tell us if Bob gives
you different names for the hair your wearing.   You know how guys are.

That is very becoming to you and looks so natural.  How does it feel?

As though I am wearing a hat. It's really fairly comfortable. I was
surprised.

DeeTee,

It looks wonderful. You are a beautiful woman with or without hair. I said
so so there ;0P

You do look beautiful too and inside you are beautiful too. So you are just
one beautiful woman.

I am glad for you that Bob likes it. ;-)

DeeTee,
I don't know if you are interested in another on-line support group,
but the cancer care network has been very good for my sister. Here is
a link

http://groups.msn.com/CancerCareNetwork/_whatsnew.msnw

If you go there, look for Nursie197, and just nursie in the chat
section.

Thank you - but I can't handle another group. The love and friendship I get
from this one fills my heart to capacity.

oooooooh!  sleek and silver!  you look great in the wig!  (and your rosacea
doesn't look as bad as Mike's - he tends to be oblivious until I tell him to
start smearing stuff on it again!  lol)

Looks adorable! A great hairstyle for you. Though you look pretty good bald,
too.

My Mom's head was flatter and a bit lumpier. She has to wear a scarf or hat.
