I loved the M'Day card Rose sent the group - so much that I passed it on to
my sister and a couple friends. I played it over 4-5 times and enjoyed it
every time. Nanny

I agree with the LOL part, Kate. I hope you are doing well today. Did
your son come by?

i'm hanging in there, though everything's been flaring up a storm for awhile
now. i've been on my cane constantly lately; often find myself wishing i
had two canes with me, when i'm out and about.
my son came over bright and early this morning, 8am, bearing lovely pink
flowers and a precious card. we had a long visit here--talked about just
about anything and everything for several hours, which is what we generally
do, cuz we just seem to find so many things to talk about. lol, we are
soooo gabby whenever we get together. then, he took me out for a mother's
day special "lunch" buffet at a local casino. i say lunch with my tongue in
cheek, cuz it was more like an early dinner feast. the only thing missing
from the buffet was lobster.LOL we spent 3 hours at the buffet, talking
some more. for the life of me, i don't know how we find so much to talk
about.lol we both had a good time. when he brought me back home at 3pm i
went out, so i wouldn't sit around and think myself into ruining the
goodness of today. been kept myself distracted all day.

My thoughts have been with you constantly Kate. I know it has been a rough
ride and isn't quite over yet. Glad to hear your day was so great - you son
sounds pretty incredible. You and your husband obviously did a great job
raising him.

thank you, kelly. it has been challenging.
actually, we were just very lucky--alex was born the way he is. can't take
credit for the luck of the draw. we consciously did try not to change the
way he is, though. still, it does feel more like good fortune than anything
else.

"Memories light the corners of my mind..." Good thing, huh. It gets
awfully dark back there.
Thanks, Rose. Hope you had a good day, too.
