I know I don't have much room to talk, but there's a lot of people missing
around here. Where's Sarah L, and JD Shine, and Maureen (Mo), DawnO,
Angela,  Janers?  What'd y'all do with them while I wasn't looking?  Wish
Mama Char was here.....

we stole their choc. so they left. LOL ;-)

I talked to  Dawn O in email. She says she reads when she can but doesn't
post much.

I have been wondering about some of the others too.

We still haven't heard from Ducky either unless I missed the post.

You know Gloria I like to think they are doing so well on all the new
biologics that they just haven't had to be around as much - haven't seen
some of those names for too long.  Is anyone talking to Mary and is  she
still rafting?  Also worry alot about Walt.  Haven't heard from him for a
bit.

Of course there are a few lurkers in the bushes.  Ever since the margaritas
stopped flowing as freely we don't get them out very often.  We did hear
from our Lake Goddess though - did you catch that email.  And we cleaned out
the hot tub so KJ would pop on by.  Hopefully we will get an update on how
she is.  Of course things just aren't the same since our Kenny and his red
boxers hasn't been around as much.  And does anyone hear from Cush?

We did do a roll call a bit ago.  Seems to me we flushed you out again -
thank goodness.  We missed you.

So now that I finished your chocolate (and yes even melted it sure was good)
maybe I should use up my last box of Trader Joe's Chocolate brownie mix and
lure a few people back.  Seems to me DeeTee prefers something other than
chocolate - was I right?  Was it you DeeTee?

Duckie is quite busy packing, packing, packing to get ready to move into
the house they just bought.  She also is still recovering from her
recent knee replacement, and of course is preparing to become a new
grandma in the next month or so!

Sarah L hasn't really been posting or reading here or over at
rheumorweb.  She has had quite a few serious health issues over the last
2 years and as well as just losing her mother in the late fall.   She's
still around and kicking though.  Just chatted with her via email the
other day.  Her most recent thing is that she loves to work out in her
yard, but has started developing some type of reaction to the sun every
time she is out in it.  Breaks out in a rash and such.  Time for the
extra super strenght sun protection lotions! Some of us are lucky enough
to get to see her at gimp picnic each year!

KJ has also been recovering from her hand surgery and doing her PT and
exercises and such.  I'm sure with the weather starting to get nice out
now, she is focused on working outdoors most of the time.  She LOVES
being outdoors.

I too have missed and wondered where Walt is, as well as JD Shine, Dan,
Dr. Doc, Dr. Susan, Mo (is MO the one who bought the houseboat and set
sale with her hubby?), Char, Di Abel, Cush, Johnie, Kenny, Kendal, and
so many of the others who are missing.   I'm absolutely thrilled to
death that Melinda has resurfaced!!!   Missing Kate a lot too, but I
know she has her hands full with her multiple sick relatives and such.

great update, donna! i hope duckie will rejoin us when she gets
settled. and sara's rash sounds like a medication reacting to the sun.
i had that happen long ago. itchy rash. but can't remember which med
it was.

i hope we hear from some of the others one day soon. or else i hope
they're so well and happy they don't need us anymore.

I am lurking and usually read freq updates but been dealing with a few
issues health wise right now.

Had foot surgery last fall and it is better but continued on and off joint
pain in my feet and hips.  seems the lupus is not controlled well enough
and I have flucked DMARDS>  So the new theory is using DHEA to contol mild
to moderate lupus symptoms.

Been on doses of 50mg and 75mg.  had a hard time finding a pharmacist who
would give me that high dosage with out him first asking the rheumy about
it.  It seems to help but also I have been fighting a bacterial infection.
My wbc were very low a month ago and someone close to me got a cold, so of
course we had to Share!!!   Taking 3 different rounds of 3 different
antibiotics. I didn't know the head could hold that much ugly looking
stuff.   YIKES.

So hoping this DHEA will help cause it is my last resort right now with
control.   Been on medrol lots of years and it is doing it's BAD thing to
me too.  so

search DHEA in the engine if you want to find what it does for lupus
patients.

Ain't ya glad you asked Gloria?

Oh and DIL having twins Aug. So pray all goes well.  We got all girls
grandkids and this will be a boy and a girl .....so much fun for maw maw

Hope you find some improvement soon.

A tournament took place nearby, the weekend before last.

A player's ball was rolling toward a water trap when it bounced off a
spectator's shoe and remained on the green.

After completing the hole, the player walked over to the spectator, thanked
him, and gave the spectator the gloves he had been wearing.

Only after the final hole did the spectator look over the gloves and
discover a $100 bill inside each.

... IS a golf ball a sport malady similar to a tennis elbow?

What City FD did you retire from Chiefy?
Harvey R. Stone - 13 May 2007 20:24 GMT
> What City FD did you retire from Chiefy?

Why would you expect him to answer that when you did not reply to the same
question?

I would be very surprised if he even considers you worthy of a reply.   If
you do not answer that question,,, I am going to put you in the troll world
and treat you to what they deserve.
Please let me tell you one last time,,,, this is a support group for
people with arthritis problems.   You did not answer that one either and it
seems have no reason to be posting here except to hurrrrasssse someone with
a reason that you have made up in your own mind.   I will say one more time
that Chief is from a big city fire department and it is not for me to tell
you where.  If this does not bring answers,  I am going to see how well you
sit with your internet servers.

I was never asked that question sh.t for brains...

I retired after 26 years from the City of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania Fire
Department.

How about Chiefy, which 'big city fire department' did he retire from?

I'm guessing none, he was never an actual firefighter.....Totally
despicable little liar....

YES! I'm very glad I asked! It's Janers!  Man it's good to see you
posting. Wish it was better for you, but we ALLOW people to post that
they're not doing well. This is the SUPPORT place. Some of us will
even share our chocolate with you to help you feel better. Here, I've
got one piece left, OK, 2 pieces, OK they're bags.....so help
yourself, Janers.....just don't get the melted ones.....welcome back!
