One of my special friends here gave me a plastic storage box with the
following items and labels:

Emergency Stress Kit

Bookmarker - "To hold your place in your favorite escape novel."

Marble - "Replacement marble should your day (or week, or year) cause you to
lose one of yours."

Small pack of Kleenex - "To wipe away the tears of burdens shared with
family and friends, tears of happiness of joyous times remembered, and tears
of gratitude for blessings received."

Snickers candy bar - "Sense of humor - a "snicker" or giggles are often the
beginning of see the brighter side of things. 'A merry heart doeth good like
a medicine but a broken spirit drieth the bones.' (Proverbs 17:22)"

A couple of bandaids - "For any owies you need to heal."

A piece of rope - An extra piece, for when you're at the end of yours."

A hand mirror - " Reflection of yourself - to remind you that you are
created in Heavenly Father's image and have endless potential."

A big bag of Hershey's kisses and hugs - " Hugs and kisses to let you know
you are loved and appreciated for who are  and for all the lives you have
touched in a special way."

ANGELS EXIST, but some times, since they don't all have wings, we call
them FRIENDS......

Thank you so much for sharing this, I'm going to make up a few kits
and send them out to some dear friends. Recently got some wallpaper
sample books off ebay to make gift boxes and cards and a bunch of
upholstry fabric sample books for textile projects and will use them
to make some nice kits for  one of our local  cancer organization's
boutiques - we could even translate it into Spanish and send a few
over the border with one of their shipments of donated wigs;^)

Best wishes,
renee
