FOOD FACTOR: CHICKEN
The average American eats nearly twice as much chicken today as in 1980, but
13% less beef, the USDA says. In 1980, we ate more than twice as much beef
as chicken.
Increased chicken consumption is a good thing: less fat, fewer calories as
long as it's not fried.

CALORIE BURNER: FISHING
Nothing says "relax" like a warm afternoon lazily lounging in a fishing boat
with your line dangling in the water. Hard to believe anything this
enjoyable can burn off 176 calories for a 155-pound person. Up the count to
246 calories by standing and
fishing off the bank.

NEWS FLASH: JOBLESS STRESS
The stress of unemployment may dampen healthy people's immune system
function - but finding a job can restore its fighting power, a study says.
University of California San Francisco researchers followed 100 employed and
100 unemployed adults for 4 months, collecting blood samples to measure
"natural killer" cells.  The unemployed group had weaker activity.  But 25%
of the unemployed found jobs, and their natural killer cells got back on
track.

Hhhhm,,, But fishing either place removes stress, lowers blood pressure and
lets grandpasss get to know their grankids better.

Boy oh boy,,, does that ever sound like  SanFran,,,,, they all need to go
fishing and they would probably have to lay down to do it though.  Men are
from Mars and Women are from Venus but if your from SanFran you are not
allowed on either planet by popular vote of that planet.
