Looks like golf maybe postponed for awhile. Right hand is gotten to the
point I need to have something done.
Sheesh, getting old sucks sometimes! I do like other aspects of it though.
:-)
Making an appointment today. Numbness, tingling, definite weakness, losing
small motor function (writing).
Hoping for golf by may/june.
Hope everyone finds this day pain-free.

Just a note to say that I found carpal tunnel surgery to be a breeze. Hope
it goes as well for you. My biggest problem was keeping the bandage on. I
bought a couple of pair of white cotton gloves at the pharmacy to wear over
the bandage to keep it in place. (Particularly at night)
If I didn't know where the scars are, I'd never be able to see them. And
that was with open surgery.

Thanks Jo,
Will try to avoid surgery if I can. they have to determine how far gone I
am. Good thing they're not looking at my brain!!

good news is that recovery from carpal tunnel surgery is rapid these days.
They do it through such a tiny incision now. And the relief is wonderful!
You are wearing a wrist brace in the meantime to help with symptoms, aren't
you?

Well, what to do, what to do....
Yesterday morning woke up and could barely feel my thumb, index, and middle
finger. Took a nsaid and started
icing my wrist on/off during the day at work. Took another nsaid last night
with a painpill and fell asleep on the
couch with a bag of ice on the wrist. It fell off while laying there (no
frostbite!) This morning I feel fine. Have an appt. with the doc on Wed.
and if this continues this way I guess I'll cancel.
