I had been an avid post on this board years ago and I am glad to find
this place again.  I am on my way to my Rheumatoligist tomorrow and I
have recently been diagnosed with Sjogren's syndrome.  Along with RA
and other autoimmune disease issues.

I would appreciate others with any input at all and on how they
proceed.

Thank you,
Kristin

hi kristin, i have sjogrens secondary to RA. it's a drag, especially
this time of year when i also need to take claritin D. no amount of
water makes my mouth feel anything other than parched. i also have
dental problems from the dryness. i use oasis mouthwash, available
over the counter. my dentist just gave me a sample of a prescription
fluoride toothpaste you use before bedtime to help protect your teeth,
but i haven't used it yet.

as for eyes, i use any good tears product during the day (i like
systane and refresh tears) and at night, i sometimes use celluvisc (by
the refresh company), but sometimes it makes my eyes feel worse when i
wake up.

good luck. i'm just learning how to live with SS myself.
