I know I need to change doctors. I can't talk to mine because he is
always in a hurry. My problem is that I'm sore and stiff and ache
all day long. Can't even sleep good at night. Anyway, I've been
diagnosed with cirrosis of the liver, and congestive heart failure.
Tylenol doesn't help me, and I can't take nsaids, because they
interfere with the lasix , the water pills, I'm taking. Do I have to
be miserable the rest of my life. I live near mexico, so is there any
pills that would relief my pain.

Do not just go get pills from mexico - these could be lethal in your
condition. Get a new doctor - preferably a rheumatologist. That is a doctor
that specializes in arthritis. Try gentle exercise and relaxation exercises
while you are waiting, pool exercises for arthritis won't hurt if you do
them slowly. Check with a doctor first to make sure it won't hurt or even
better check with a physiotherapist after that doctor to get a proper
program.
Once you know what is wrong your meds will be specialized with your
condition. You don't have to be miserable all your life. You need to take
control of your life and a new doctor might be a start!
You can do it. Stick around and let us know what they say.

Is he a rheumatologist? Or you PCP/GP?

I've been that way since 1975 - diagnosed in 1976.

Remember MLK's widow? She died in treatment in Mexico.
That is not the place to go to see a doctor or buy pills.
You really haven't told us much about yourself - your age,
gender, family. I'm gussing you're someplace between
California and Texas.
Do you exercise? That can do wonders to relieve pain
and aching muscles. The more sedimentary you are,
the more you are going to hurt for longer periods of time.
