He ended up at the er yesterday afternoon a round of IV antibiotics and some pain meds and a script of oral antibiotics he is home and doing better. We went back to the reg doc today and he is healing again, but the doc said that some of this might be viral??? He said if this does flare up again we are going to see an infectious disese specialist at the University of Oklahoma. I think that they just do not know..thats my guess. He has responded well to the meds and it is clearing up pretty well. Keep praying and thanks for the prayers and love. For me well I just got out of a nasty nasty flare up prednisone taper for me..higher dose this time though. I went to eat mexican food last wednesday while on pred and out ate my husband and son(football player guy). Gosh felt like a pig afterwords..oh well part of the pred thing. Only you and I can control what our knife and fork do butttttt pred pushes it allot.. It is part of the cost of being able to lift my arm, paint on my house, or do other things until my DMARDS take control again. Harv Oh, Rhonda, am so glad your son is starting to already improve with the antibiotics. Sure hope this is the last time the poor fella has to deal with this cellulitis stuff. I bet he was soooooo happy to at least be able to come home! You take good care of yourself as well, and do keep us posted!!! . . . Donna G. . . .
