Hey Jo, Mike said thank you for the card...
It still surprises him when you send him cards...He has to tell all his
friends How nice you are...that someone who has not ever met him or talked
with him...Would send him a card...Means alot to him...
Thanks again for thinking of him...
Oh and an update....He is doing well. They did the surgery on March 6 , that
was on Tuesday. He was released from the hospital Saturday the 10
th...Because he was so "good" and behaved himself  ;)
He saw the Doctor on Wed and they took the staples out...So he is doing
much better...NOW if he will mind and take it easy...maybe just maybe we can
keep him together for a while...But ...I can only ask God to help, because
so far it hasn't...This last time he did go 1 whole year...So maybe ....
Thanks again for all your thoughts and prayers...Now if I can keep him away
from the Golf Course, Motorcycle and...YARD WORK...

Let me echo that thanks.  My hubby loved his card Jo and asked me to pass
that along to you.  And BTW, he's doing fantastic!!!  The PSA is in the
negative numbers and all is well.  We've said from day one that if you have
to have prostate cancer, this is the way to do it.  We have truly been
blessed!!!

Thanks again,

Jean

Jean, I can't remember from a.s.c.p which treatment your hubby had.
RT, RP, HT, HDT, or a combination?

Chief ... he had robotic radical prostatectomy.  So, I guess that would be
RRP?

Yes, I've heard that (RRP) used in ascp.

And from me, too. Will pass along your wishes to my Mom. I really appreciate
you keeping her in your prayers.

She's going through a really rough patch right now. In a great deal of pain
and she's allergic to opiates. The synthetics seem to be too similar
molercularly and she's begun reacting to them, too. And if the new chemo
trial doesn't help, this will be the best she's going to feel. It really
sucks.

Cindy, Jean, and Adelle,

You are all welcome.

Cindy,
Glad Mike is doing better, glad he was good and behaved himself. Still in my
prayers that he stay put back together and behaves and no golf, motorcycle
and yard work.

Jean,
Glad hubby is doing fantastic. Good the number are staying negative. That
must do you both a world of good. Take care

Adelle,
I wish your mom were doing better. I know how hard this has to be on you
both. Sorry to hear she is going thru a rough patch. I sure hope the new
chemo trial does the trick for her. I will be praying that for her.
