Every once in a while, I come back here to lurk, to see how everyone is
doing, and maybe to jump into the conversation.  I've been so
preoccupied with my photography, that it really consumes so much of my
time.  I love it.  It's my passion.

In this vein, I stopped in this morning.  Much to my dismay, I have
found that another loved member of this group has passed.  I'm so sorry,
everyone.  I'm so sorry that we lost another to the miserable diseases
that we experience daily.  I wish her immediate family well, and hope
that they are feeling somewhat consoled by the fact that she is no
longer in pain.  She was a tough lady, and she fought like hell.  We
will all miss her.

I posted a photo of her on in my "In Memorium" gallery,
http://www.pbase.com/image/75425164 , for those of you who have never
met her in person.  I had that privelege in December 2003. We visited
Epcot Center when I was on a business trip in Orlando.  I invite you to
visit the website, see Di when she was reasonably well.  We had so much
fun that day.  Her hospitality and sincerity and love was so wonderful.
She brightened my trip.  She brightened all of our lives.  May she rest
in peace.

Thanks for sharing your good memories and great talent with the camera.  It
is also good to know that you are doing well as we feel the loss of one of
our Dianes.
I thought about you here awhile back after taking my dog for an early
walk.   I was shuffling my feet and hit a raised piece of the sidewalk and
fell almost breaking my left wrist and several minutes before I could breath
right.
All the while,,,,,, my dog saying come on, come on,,,, I have ground to
cover.
I thought about your falls that brought you sooo much pain but the love of
our dogs comes first.

thanks, Harv.  Our dogs mean so much to us.  So do our cats.  So does
any family member.  And, our pets are family members.

I'm glad you didn't break your wrist, but I bet it sure hurt anyway.
Your dog got you home, no doubt.  GOOD Dog!  I guess you remember my
post from about two years ago when I mentioned that I practically rode
my dog into the house when I broke my ankle.  hehehehe...............
she wasn't a very happy camper.  Neither was I.

Dogs rule.............

Thanks for the picture, Di.  I think that picture from your trip has been the
basis for my mental picture of Diane, it looked so familiar.
