I finish out my prednisone "taper" tomorrow. (Halley-looley!).  I guess
I still haven't had it too bad - I gained under 5 pounds.  But... I feel
like I'm walking around inside a water balloon!  Poofy, puffy, squishy, ick!

How long does it take - how hard will I have to work - to get this off?
I'm hoping you'll tell me it magically goes away by itself the very
next morning. ;-) but I guess that's a bit of a stretch.

typing with squishy fingers,

It should not take you long to lose that if you watch what you eat and drink
lots of water to flush it out.  A prednisone pulse normally will reverse any
side effects quite quickly.  But probably not the next morning - sorry.
