Stopping by to see how eve is doing, still recovering from my surgery, (
bursa removed),  the pain is gone, but too early to tell in a long term
basis, and still looking for a good Orthopedic surgeon to have both of my
hips replaced.

You all take care.

You have done all you could with a positive outlook for tomorrow.  Good
luck in your finding the right surgeon to do your hips.

glad to hear the pain is gone for now.  Time to keep that bursitis away and
for that wonderful hip replacer to appear!

You take care, too.

Hey Ladybug,

Glad the surgery went well and that you are recovering well.  Also glad
to hear that the pain is gone.   May it stay gone for a very very long
time!!!

Sending healing thoughts and prayers that just the right ortho surgeon
comes along for you!!!

Hugs,

Donna G.

CC'd as well...

Hiya Ladybug,

I used to hang out here, but haven't been in for quite awhile as life took
me in a different direction.

But I've been reading through some of the posts for the last couple of
months trying to get caught up, and saw this one from you, which caught my
eye.

What type of bursitis did you have?  Did the surgery correct it?  Did you
lose any function after the surgery?  Did the pain go away?

The reason I ask is because I have had dreadful bursitis and tendonitis in
my left shoulder for two years now, and it's to the point that I'm
considering surgery.  I have bad RA in all my joints, and it's caused
carpal tunnel and tendonitis in my wrists, tarsal tunnel in ankles, and
bursitis in shoulders.

Cortisone shots give me relief for about a month, but that's it.  And the
inflammation in my shoulders make my arms go numb at times.  And I've even
been battling bursitis of the Achilles as well.

Any insight/info would be muchly appreciated!
