hi all i told them on my other ngs..but i am going in wednesday for a colonoscopy and biopsies since my crohns colitis has been getting worse for the last few months...i have to fast for 2 days on clear liquids....and take a god-awful prep(drink it..its like salty soda)..and sit on the sh---ter for a few hours...thats tuesday...by th e time i get there on wednesday i am hungry to the point of feeling nauseated, dehydrated(since i cant have anything to drink after midnight)...and not in the best of moods<g> i will be put out for the thing tho thank goodness..i have become immune to the "rest inducing" meds they usually use...the prep actually is the worst part of all... just hope i can climb on and off the table for the procedure...i can take all my meds for fibro and arthritis so hopefully i can move around properly... wish me luck family...gonna need it... love to you all annie ps..the first thing i am gonna eat when i get home and feel better is chocolate... BTW, we went to a chocolate extravaganza Sat. hosted by one of the churches near here. I wouldn't have thought it possible, but I had my fill of chocolate! It's been 30 hours since we left and I still can't even think about chocolate. Let us know how it went. > > johnie thank u johnie..and thanks to anyone i missed cos i am on so many pain meds..the crohns has acted up terribly the last few days so the scope is being timed just right...if something (else) is wrong they will find it..i think its just more inflammation...no biggie..but i need to find out...its almost 1am and i am up<G> like probably lots of you take care..annie ps all ..my son came home safely from the middle east on a merchant marine ship..he is here safe and sound(and planning his next venture out)... Damn, so many folks- members or relatives/friends - getting bad patches to wade through. As for the chocolate cure, I've been making real AND Virtual brownies for about a week or two, and y'all can find the ones I sent ya if you hold your head like this... and read between the lines in my posts. Watch out for the walnuts - I left them almost whole this last batch, so there's "incoming!" big time in each brownie.
