My 3-day stay at the hospital turned into 11 days.  The medicine didn't work
so I had a defibrillator put in.  I just got home a couple of hours ago and
am still pretty weak.  The doctor is very pleased with the incision and
staples that will come out next Monday.  I'll write more later but just
wanted to let you know that I am alive and getting stronger.

I'm so glad you posted so we wouldn't continue to worry.  Sorry it
turned out to be such as big deal, but I'm sure this will be the answer
to your problem.  Get a good sleep in your own bed and get well soon.

It's so good to hear from you, Gwen.  We've all been wondering.  Sorry the
medicine didn't work, but glad that they were on top of it and knew what to
do next.  Rest and recover and let your body heal.

(((((((((((((gwen))))))))))) i'm soooo glad to see you again.  w0w!  that
was sure  longer hospital stay than what was expected.  i'm sorry the
medicine didn't work out for you, hon.  by now, the staples are out and
hopefully you are getting stronger with each day that passes.

btw, my neice's husband had one put in about a decade ago, when he was in
his 40s.  he's gotten so much stronger that he actually cuts and bucks
firewood.  i'm hoping you will have just as great a result, though i don't
want to hear about you cutting and splitting firewood.:-)

so, how are you feeling now?
