sorry to have been absent so long! when i returned from my sister and
brother-in-law's in NJ, i was so wiped out i kind of went underground
for a while. just didn't feel like talking, but i did get a lot of
writing done.

it was a bit of a stressful nightmare setting things up for my
brother-in-law to come home from the hospital, but we got it done. he's
not the best patient in the universe and was pretty unappreciative of
having his house turned upside down while he was away (new special
recliner in the living room, an unfamiliar 24 hour aide, a bed for the
aide, a visiting nurse, hospice in the wings etc), but he is handling
it all better now and so is my sis. thanks for the kind emails and
support. i know i'll be going up there again in the not too distant
future. the whole time i was there, i kept asking myself "what were you
thinking, not immediately getting up here???" i was so needed. next
time, i'll have a better sense of that.

my RA behaved while i was gone. i believe wearing the brace on my ankle
truly helps although i HATE it.

sorry i'll have to skip over so many emails. if there's anything
important i should know, please bring me up to date.
