Some of you might remember that we are due to emark on a rather taxing
trip soon accompanied by 2 canes, RA, osteonecrosis and a mobilty
scooter.
Today was the first bit. We went down to Southampton Docks and left 2
large suitcases for loading on to the ship we are to meet in Auckland
NZ in February. We have another journey to S'hampton on Sunday to take
8 shots of enbrel for delivery to the ship's doctor who has kindly
agreed to keep it refrigerated until we board.
Next weekend we are due to fly to LAX, spend 2 days in LA and the fly
on to NZ on the 16th. It all seems formidable. Maybe we won't make it,
maybe we will. All thanks are due to my wife who has made all this
possible and will bear the load of having a severly mobility challenged
person with her.
Anybody who knows what to do with a mobility scooter at LAX ? - Advice
welcome.
I'll try and keep you folks posted with how all thsi goes.
Best wishes
Peter
