He came through with a dose pack for me yesterday - and asked if one will
take care of it!  (I replied, "sometimes.")  It's been awhile since I've had
a costo flare this bad with so little obvious cause so I'm just not sure -
but the door is open if I need more.

Meanwhile, with the costo making talking hard, I forgot that I also needed a
rewrite on my ultram and we're leaving Monday..... and my ssmall town
pharmacy turned out to be closed today so I couldn't refill my darvocet!  I
guess someone in Gainesville will be asked to transfer down one refill.  I'm
usually so good about things, but got caught earlier in the week because my
PCP's office is in the midst of going to fully computerized records.  It's
pretty cool because the doc can fax the script to the pharm for you while
he's still talking to you in the exam room!  but it also means their
changing
their rewrite procedures and manuvering it all was tooo much talking on the
phone for me last week.  But talking is a bit easier today and I have hope
that the medrol will fix me up - that and we just took Puddin' over to our
cat sitter's so I won't have an 11 pound cat trying to walk across me for a
couple of weeks!

Oh and I asked him about this latest batch of antibody tests my RD had done.
He didn't have those results so couldn't say anything more about them, but
he
was much amused.  IInt's his opinion that my roller-coaster protein levels
are an artifact of my chronic illnesses and as we've ruled out many possible
causes, we should just monitor stuff for now.  He's amused that my RD is so
determined to figure it out.  I, of course, keep hoping they'll find
something this way that will help other symptoms!  It's interesting though
to
have one doc being low-key, though watchful, and the other determined to
figure out the puzzle. heehee

Ultram is 4.00 on wally worlds generic list.

A good doctor is so Worth their weight in Gold...I have two...My PCP...now
he is very good at taking care of reg stuff, making sure we have meds and
sending us to the right doctor if he can't help us...My Rhuemy....I wouldn't
trade him for anything...I hope he practices long after I am gone...but that
is doubtful since he is older than me...

Nann, Praying that the meds will kick it in the Butt and you can enjoy your
