I made it. Came home today. Three night in hospital, rehab. Virtually
pain free, except for the incision. The rehab is coming to my home
three days a week starting Monday. So far so good. I didn't realize
just how involved the whole process is.

I'm happy to hear that it's over with and you are on your way to
recovery. I don't have first hand experience, but have heard many times
that rehab is a lot of work. Good luck with it. I know you will do
well.

Mark, so glad things are going well for you. Be sure to do all the
exercises regularly; that makes a very big difference in the final outcome.
And be sure to follow all the restrictions so you won't have a dislocation.
Keep us posted how you're doing, okay!

Don't start tap dancing yet, wait until after Christmas. Super news it
went so well. Continued speedy recovery and do your exercises.

So glad it went well Mark. Just keep up with the rehab and all should go
well! It is involved but the pain free should make it so much better. Who
ever knew pain could be so tiring!

It's a huge surgery. I think because so many people are having joint
replacements that the surgery "gets no respect" as Rodney Dangerfield
used to say. It is an involved process but from here on out it just
gets better and better. do the exercises, follow the restrictions, and
begin to enjoy life again.

Mark, if you have staples in the incision as I had, once they're
removed you won't feel a thing.

Be sure to keep up with the exercises and follow any
instructions rehab has. It's all downhill from here, and
you'll be soooooo glad you had the surgery.
