Saw my cardiologist this morning and my heart is back in rhythm.  He did an
EKG just to be sure. He was a little upset that my lung doctor had not been
called in while I was in the hospital---I had suggested to the cardiologist
there then that maybe they should call him and he said no.  His office is to
make an appointment for me sometime this month if possible.  He also noticed
that I am still swollen and doubled my Lasix to see if that will give me
back some energy.  My potassium checked out okay last Monday.  He also had
me go to the hospital for an ultrasound on my legs this afternoon , and made
an appointment for me for Thursday of next week to have some lab work and
weight check .  I'm to see him again in a month.
I am so glad he is back in town because he is very thorough.  He is the one
who noticed my lung problem in the beginning.  Billy took off work today to
take me; I wanted him to be there to hear what Dr. Chan had to say.  I'm
hoping to start feeling good again now instead of being exhausted from
walking to the mailbox and back.  Haven't been to church in a month except
for our orchestra Christmas program when Billy dropped me off at the
handicapped entrance and then picked me back up there.  I've missed all the
other Christmas stuff and am hoping to soon be able to go back.

I share in your hopes and understand the need to fully enjoy.   What we
have takes more from us than we like to admit and another thing it is so
easy to over doooo.
Merry Christmas

that does sound good Gwen, you take care and get all the rest you need
