Hi
I have heard that generic version of mobic may be available at
pharmacies now. At any rate the FDA approved some. Anyone know this?
Local pharmacy folks did not seem to think so.. as yet.

Yes it is...I was expecting to pay for the Name Brand when My husband was
prescribed it the other day...
And it was a generic...The name is Meloxicam...
He got a 30 day prescription and it cost less than our Copay of 10.00 :).
When the pharmacist handed me the meds and said it was 6.00, I
said...wait...she must have given me the wrong prescription..because I
thought it would have been at least 28.00...but nope...it was just 6.00.
Cindy

See me smiling...I like generic...

Visit http://www.fda.gov

Then tell the local pharmacy to do the same.
