Do You Have Knee Pain and Trouble Sleeping?
Participants are needed for a study to evaluate a new sleeping
medication in patients with arthritis of the knee. Researchers at the
Johns Hopkins School of Medicine are looking for volunteers to
participate in a clinical trial examining the effects of a new sleeping
medication used nightly for 3 months on: sleep, pain, and daytime
symptoms. To participate in this study, you must be: between the ages
of 18 - 64, have osteoarthritis of the knee for 5 years or less, and
trouble sleeping for at least 6 months. This study involves 1 overnight
sleep study, may include x-rays of the knee, sensory testing. All
examinations, parking, and medication are provided at no cost.
