Kate, I think we're the same height now.  I used to be 5' 2" if I stretched
just as far as possible; always wanted to be 5' 4".  But you know the
saying, "wish in one hand and spit in the other and see which gets full
first."

well, it can still make going to your appointments a much happier
undertaking!  Like that nice, good looking orthopod I had last winter who's
free to work on my hands anytime.......

Too bad so much of
> the Rheumatological talent is spread among way too few hands, huh?

ain't that the truth?  northern Michigan, from Bay City to the bridge has a
total of four RDs now, 2 of them in the clinic I see, and all on the west
side of the state.  And my RD has said most RDs are so busy that it takes
everything they have to keep up with their current patients.  I've met three
other people who see him through NON-arthritis channels thus far...

Put that RD on a long leash and permit NO travel or moving outside your area!

Couldn't happen to a nicer gimp!  Seriously Rosie, you must just feel
so good.  Lab results are a lot like biofeedback, I think

My protein levels are good, Nann! I won't trade being an Alphabet Hog
with you ( you have some of the same letters yourself) but since my RD ( and
myself -- I told him to put me on Enbrel rather than Remicade) has gotten my
primary disease to sit down and shuddup for now I'll take on your protein
numbers for you.

In one of the quit smoking groups I'm in those of us in the Sunshine
State call ourselves Floridiots...so once a Floridiot always a Floridiot,
Nann. For a fellow Floridiot - sure!

well, actually the fatigue and the costo bother me more, but the fatigue MAY
be related to the low proteins, if we ever figure out what's doing that.
Time to work out which letters I'm missing, maybe that will give us a clue as
to what's going on!  LOL

Don't you love RDs who will listen to what we say?

Come to think of it, as an alphabet hog, I guess it's a good thing I'm
married to a competitive scrabble player!
