The fact you would post this here makes me want to rush out and buy a
copy of his book. If I remember correctly the criminal jury came back
with a not guilty verdict.

And that says a great deal about you as you join Calf. juries and
judges........

I know, I followed the trial every day of its duration.  I cried at the
verdict!  Just because the jury says "not guilty", doesn't mean he isn't.

I thought OJ was found not guilty? Are we trying to rewrite history
now? Nobody has any proof that OJ committed those murders. The evidence and
investigation was so poorly done, nobody can say for sure if he did it. It's
only wild speculation by those who didn't sit through the case and examine
the evidence and testimony.

In reality, he wound up with the Scottish verdict, "Not proven."
There were not many who sincerely believed he didn't do it,
least of all his own defense attorney, the late great Johnnie
Cochran who didn't become rich by being stupid.

He was never off the hook.  He was after all successfully sued by
relatives of Ron Goldman claiming wrongful death.

I guess in Scotland, a complete acquittal means that a dozen
people say they can't see that the defendant is guilty as
charged, and that's the legal end of the matter.  In other
English common law countries including this one, there's the
stigma of "Well, he did beat the rap, but..."

Yes he was, at a second trial for the same crime. That is called double
jeopardy. Do you think everyone that gets a NOT GUILTY verdict in court
should be tried over and over till a guilty verdict is returned? Don't
you think a civil trail for financial remuneration for a criminal
offence should be restricted to guilty people.

The jury was not a hung jury in the criminal case. If it had been a new
trial could have been facilitated. He was found NOT GUILTY! That should
have ended it.

I was once charged with a serious crime and the case was dismissed
without a trial when I proved I was innocent. I have since, at my own
expense, had to prove that case was dismissed and I was innocent twice.
This has cost me thousands of dollars. In my case no crime was committed
and the party that claimed it had was advised to leave the state or face
charges for filing false reports. I am not allowed to go after that
person to recover my expenses even though the lies of that person have
cost me a lot of money.

Sorry feely. You got there first and beat everyone to the dick you love so
much.

No he wasn't

> That is called double jeopardy.

Only in criminal cases.  His second trial was in a civil court.

Don't forget the cops in the King beating were found not guilty in a
criminal trial, but convicted in a federal civil rights trial.

Or maybe you thing a different standard should apply to white cops
than to a black
ex-football player.

.. If ignorance is bliss, why aren't more people happy?

Because if it was you would have died of laughter long ago.

Chief and others, as I said before, I followed OJ's murder trial daily, so I
was really aware of all the evidence, racial problems, and ego problems of a
couple of OJ's lawyers.  The overwhelming DNA evidence of OJ's blood found
in several places in and around the crime scene and his estate, convinced
me.  It was something like this:  with the results of the blood analysis,
the chances of OJ NOT being guilty were something like 1 in one trillion.
The public can be a courtroom as well, and we're seeing signs now of the
backlash to the brutal murderer who thought he got away with it.  A lot of
people don't forget, and I'm one of them.  Nanny

John

Yeah...found innocent by a mostly black jury that was predispositioned to
judge him innocent from the word go.
Why not invite him over to YOUR house this Christmas? He'll carve the
turkey.

That's right, bro, keep the faith.

OJ didn't do it and I can prove it:

1) He said he didn't do it.

2) He's out looking for the "real" killers.

And that settles that!
