My small intestine scan was normal so, on November 14th, I have the capsule
endoscopy. This one should do the trick of locating and diagnosing the
bleeding. http://www.mayoclinic.org/news2002-jax/1432.html has a good
article describing it and, since I swallow both honking calcium pills and
multivitamins every day, I should have no problem with the camera.

this was exactly the procedure i was talking about on one of your other
threads.  this'll be waaaaaaaaay easier than all that gunk they want people
to drink and all the waiting and walking.  not only that, but this'll
really/finally be definitive for you, to help them help you!  finally!
shall i insist?<smile>

Good news.  But could you please explain what
"honking calcium" is?    <g>

Nope, that was a new word for me.

I was in the 3rd grade, just promoted to the 4th, in May 1945
when the family left the South for Sunny California.  <g>

DeeTee, will it be done locally, or do you have to go to Mayo?  Wherever,
hope you get really good pictures so the docs will know what's bleeding.

I heard about this several years ago when they started doing it in Boston.
It sounds like a real step forward in looking for problems.  Please, please,
please let it show what is messing with our DeeTee!

Oh, I'm not in the least worried about it. I can swallow just about anything
if I am given enough water.

Hugs, DeeTee
