Since this is being discussed here I just came across and article that I
thought was interesting.

It is here:
http://www.medscape.com/medline/abstract/1697801?src=emed_ckb_ref_0

I can get there from typing in Tietze's syndrome in Yahoo search and then
three pages into it, it says this
Tietze's syndrome: a critical review.  if I click on that, it takes me
there. But if i click on the url I typed above it is giving me something
that I have to sign up for. So I do it with the Tietze's syndrome: a
critical review one.

It says this as a discription under the above
A critical review of Tietze's syndrome and the relevant literature to date
is presented. ... Tietze's syndrome could be more a part of seronegative
disease ...

I found that really interesting since supposedly I don't have any arthritis
but OA.

But I do have costo and Tietze's.

Which Rosie S, I know we were talking about this one time on the phone and I
couldn't figure out why the pred worked for Costo but others that had Costo
it didn't work for. Well now I know the answer. I forgot I had Tietze's as a
diagnosis.

I remember also talking on a costo group and they will tell you they are not
the same and the way to tell the difference is the lumps on the rib cage
area. But I don't have any current urls for those. I remember reading about
it a couple of years ago. That was the way they used to tell the difference
between them. Now it is the inflammation that tells the difference.

Now I know the pred is helping the Tietzes and it is not Costo at the moment
that I am dealing with. Dah.

Okay, I wish all of you would quit talking about things that I've had go
wrong in the past but have settled down!!!  They tend to flare back up when
they come to mind.....gee.....my sternum has started to bother me again.
It's been ages since I noticed any pain in the area and then, boom!,  you
start discussing it and I notice it!!!

Thanks a lot ladies!!!  ;-P
