Dear All,
I've been going through google groups to get here for about two years.
I've been with the group for about ten years. Periodically I have
problems getting here. But about two weeks ago, I could not come
directly here. I had to go to another google group and cross back
here. This morning that door was closed to me. Anyone else having
this problem?
TIA,
Vickie B.

TIA,
supposedly, there's a german server than you can get here through. there
are several people on asa who know more about that than i do, vickie. but i
sure hope you can find a reliable access point, cuz we'd miss you if you
can't. what about giganews? i think they have trial periods. doesn't
sbcglobal have a browser configuration option to allow you to get
newsgroups?--deetee might be able to answer that. there's hotmail and
yahoo--wonder if they might give you access.

It's no longer free.
Google has been doing some beta-ing (they always are) and that may have
changed the way things are setup in your starting screen(s). Take a
careful look and you should be able to figure out what they changed and
then start using normally again.

But it doesn't cost that much and they are good at pruning out the

i use google and although i've been able to get here, it's recently
changed in some undefinable way. . . for example, i keep needing to
refresh the page, etc. very weird and annoying.

sbcglobal carries this newsgroup and I use my outlook express to read and
post.
news.sf.sbcglobal.net is the server I use although I believe you can use
just about any.
