Normie (my DH) got tired of trying to talk me into my shot so up he went
to see my RD. No appt. -- just showing up!

He walked out with a coupla 'scripts for me.(!!??!!)  One is for
Darvocets...yeah, I know, many people think they're junk for pain control
but for me they work and I've been on only Neurontin for the past 3 years. I
can hop on and off Darvos with no probs.at all.

The other is for 2 of the 25mg. Enbrel per week. My doc told my DH that
the preservative in the big 50mg Enbrel is what hurts most. <I'm a
Fibromite -- EVERYTHING hurts>  The smaller ones have a different
preservative that doesn't hurt as much so I'm to have 2 shots spaced closely
in time per week.

And afterwards I can drink a lotta water and Hubby can use me to sprinkle
the flowers out front, right?

Anyways....for my DH it was a 'git 'er done' day and he sure did!

As for my part: I got a call from the Enbrel rep. and I told her I
already had my Enbrel; I arranged my getting it myself. She sez they're
backed up and thanked me for working on it myself. LOLOL

Also Caremark called and said they were ready to figure out how to get
the Enbrel to me and I told 'em I already got my Enbrel thru my Medicare
PartD but thanks, anyways.

No one ever told me that taking care of the severe arthritis I've got
would be a part time job.

Good thing my SO's chipping in so well to take some of the load off,
huh?

I am so glad Rosie, that you have Normie to help you out like this. You go
Normie. ;-) Keep up the good work. I am proud of you.

I am glad you got the Darvocets and the twice a week Enbrel. I hope this
does the job for you.

Cute about being a flower-water sprinkler. LOL

Hopefully once the meds start working for you good ole arthritis won 't be a
part time job anymore.

Give Normie an extra squeeze from me. He has done good.

sounds more like a full-time job to me!  It's such a  hassle to have to work
so hard for your meds.  It's ben such a relief for me to have prescription
insurance again - just keeping track of refills and rewrites is enough hassle
without having to find a way to pay for the meds (or having to decide which
doc to beg samples from this week!).
