Does anyone know of an agency or whatever that can help with
prescription costs, specifically for Arizona? I've done a search and
am coming up with help if you're on Medicare, or have no insurance, but
nothing else. We have prescription insurance but it leaves us with
paying 40% of newer meds like Lyrica. If there's a way of doing better
before I head to medicare in 2 more years, it would certainly be
terrific.

Have you tried
www.needymeds.com?
or

entID=1159
I hope one of these (or something someone else finds) will help you.

Without getting personal about your finances/income, have you
looked into Medicade? It's a "welfare" program, so income and
assets have to be taken into consideration. However, the term
"assets" does not include a home with simple furnishings and
appliances, car, "tools of the trade", and some jewelry such as
wedding rings. They do look into items like cash value of life
insurance, stocks/bonds, bank accounts and cash on hand.
BUT, rent/mortage payments, utility bills, medical/drug bills are
deducted from "assets".

Does anyone remember the name of that organization that Arsenio Hall is
advertising. Partnership for America is what pops into my head but sure
that is not it. He mentions calling an 800 number. Just remembered that.
