Well my sister recieved a call today that she can have her prosthesis
removed and the puck put in. The puck will have abx, and will be in
for about three months. She will then have it removed and a proper
prosthesis put back.
Her original tkr was on September 28th, last year. She has been
fighting the infection for the whole year, then developed the blood
clot and needed to have a vena cava filter installed. She has been on
IV abx for most of the year really.
I am sure she could use your prayers, that this will at last solve the
problem.

I think she thought she would be called into OR already. She has been
in the hospital in Kamloops all day, but so far has not had the
surgery. SO maybe it will be in the morning. The surgeon did tell her
that they may need to fuse her knee, depending on what they find when
they go in. That is very worrisome.

Rose, praying for no problems during the 3 month wait for the new TKR, and
that it will work beautifully with no pain when it is accomplished.

Rose, I'm so sorry your sister has had to go through all the pain and misery
connected with it from a serious infection! I'm glad that there is help in
