Still waiting for those. Dr's office called today which I was not home
and said I should make an appointment to see this doctor again. Since he
told me that he only does replacements and when he saw the MRI he would
call and recommend who I should see, I am guessing that either the knee
is much worse than he thought OR his office staff screwed something up.
So now I have an appointment for Oct 9 just to see results.
Planning on calling tomorrow and trying to speak with at least his
secretary or nurse to be sure that he really wants to see me. Meantime I
still don't know what they found. I am grumpy.
Either he or the RD wanted me to see PT and they are rushing me into
that on the same Oct 9th. All this hurry up and wait junk is annoying.
Frankly my pilates instructor has done so much to improve the function
and strength of this knee that I doubt I will need PT by October. Now if
this thing would just quit throbbing.

well, I know you won't let them put you off for a month without more of a
clue as to what's going on.  Good fortune in your battles with the desk
dragons tomorrow (today now in the East).  Sounds like your pilates IS your
knee PT.

Oh Nann she has been wonderful. I usually have a private reformer class
with her and a couple of times we spent time with her messaging the leg
to try and put the muscles and tendons back in the right spot. She knows
rolfing and therefore really knows how the skinbone is connected to the
ankle bone. She watches me like a hawk and holds thing when one or the
other leg decides to do its own thing. As things get stronger, she
pushes me harder and harder.
Right after I hurt this thing, I had to drag out the walker we moved
across the country as the muscles decided that they didn't like the pain
and were just not going to work. I am now back dancing without my leg
brace. I have made really remarkable progress in regaining muscle
strength since the 'fall' when I hurt it. At least hurt it where the
muscle gave up and pain was really evident.
Yep she has been my lifesaver.

But does she know how the head bone is connected
to the neck bone, and the neck bone is connected to
the collar bone?

Sorry, the devil made me do it.   <g>
