Left arm was really giving me fits last night around midnight. Just decided
to screw with me I guess.
Wouldn't let me ignore it and get back to sleep. Finally gave up and took a
pill. Now my butts dragging this morning. Hope ya all have a pain-free day!

Been there,,, done that. I still ask myself,,,, what did I do to cause
that and I Know that it was not always caused by action or inaction.

I thank God and my rheumy every day for the lidocaine patches he gave me.
However, sometimes even they don't work. Sorry for your pain, sweetie, and
don't wear the Grumpy shirt. Let people be surprised. :-P

My rheumy explained that the patches are slow acting. That's the
reason for the 12 on/12 off instruction. That's also why he gave
me a 'script for KETOPROFEN salve. It's FAST, FAST, FAST. I can
apply it 2 or 3 times a day for pain relief, then apply a patch in the
evening to carry me through the night.

My Rx is for KETOPROFEN 10% PLO (also available in 20% but
not covered by my insurance). It is a compound for which I must
go to a specialty compounding pharmacy.

Gary,

I feel for you. I have been flaring the last two to three weeks. It kind of
scares me. We drop down in the 50's at night and morning and then 90's
during the day. So if I am flaring like this now, I am worried about what it
will be like in months to come.

So please take care. I hope the meds work and that you get over the dragged
out feeling.

i hate the pain the won't let you sleep more than any other pain.
