Chief emailed me and let me know it was time to check in. I sent him a
reply, and am reposting it here with a little further commentary below.

I've been traveling for work a lot and been working working and more
working when I'm home. It's busy but certainly rewarding. The fabulous
Tish has changed jobs, as she was dealing with a lot of stupidity from
the CEO of the last one (and it's pretty hard to "take it up the chain"
when it's the CEO harassing you...) So she found a better place with a
lot of opportunity for advancement.

We're doing well - I just got in from Orlando last night, so still jet
lagged and recovering. My joints are NOT loving this. However, I did
discover with the travel that I have the best GP aka PCP in the world.
He's new to me, so I was still not positive about him - but I called his
office after these latest security shenanigans went into place and asked
them for a note about my prescriptions so I could take them on board,
and a note stating I may need a wheelchair to get gate-to-gate, as well
as some medication for my flight anxiety. The caveat: it had to be FAST,
my flight was 4:00 the next morning as I was given very little warning
about the trip. Well, the doc was out of town, but after having seen me
twice, he's already left instructions in my chart that I know my disease
well and if I ask for something specific I'm likely correct about what I
need, so to treat me as such. The nurse said "He's out of town, but what
I'll do is write everything up, stick it under the on-call doc's nose,
tell him to just sign it because it's fine by your doc, and I'll fax
everything but the Rx to you within the hour." The Rx was called in to
the pharmacy by 5, with a confirmation call to my cell phone from the
nurse letting me know once it was done.

I was certainly impressed.
And United, I must say, has some VERY helpful folks at their gates and
on the flights.

Adding in:
I'm exhausted this morning! T took me shopping yesterday (because she's
just that great) and I wore myself out. According to my pedometer I
walked 2.81 miles just in the mall. I got some really cute new stuff.
For the women in the group, you know all the brouhaha about how 85% of
women wear the wrong bra size, etc etc? yeah, I swore I was wearing the
right one. NOT. I was wearing a 40B. Well so it turns out I'm a 36D.
Even if you've been measured before, if it was more then 2 years ago,
get measured again by someone in a specialty shop, not just any old
lingerie dept. DEFINITELY go to a bra store specifically. It's worth it.
Then you CAN buy those $5 bras off the rack at target and have then look
and feel good!!
