Medical Facts ... or Fiction?

Wearing a copper braclet on your wrist or ankle
helps arthritis.

FALSE.  The theory is that the copper in the braclet,
absorbed through the skin, repairs  cartilage damaged
by arthritis.  Copper deficiency is vary rare, and I
am not aware of any evidence that it can be absorbed
transdermally.  But even if it can be done, the
amount derived would be nowhere near to what is
available in a daily diet that includes nuts,
grains and dried fruits.
