Managed to get my mail out of the mail slot in the closet today --
usually stuff is way to big for that -- and found your card to me there.
Wonder how long it has been hiding. All okay as it has still made it
before the day in question. lol
Coloring my hair again today as someone asked me yesterday if I should
get a senior discount. I lied and said yes but got home to see just how
many gray were peaking through.
Anyway, thank you for the card. You are the only one of my 'family' that
seems to have remembered. lol  Maybe tomorrow's mail will surprise me.
That is okay as I used the joint credit card to go shopping for me on
Friday with my daughter. Got some new underwear; a new skirt and top
good for dancing; some new exercise tops and bottom; a couple of on sale
crop pants; one pair of short [was looking for more as I broke the
zipper in the only pair I love]; and a new pair of earrings. Did pretty
well I think. Opps timer is going off. Time to add more color.
I love you Squirrely.

Your welcome Duckie. I love you too.

By the way yeah it was a good idea for you to get new underwear that was
good for dancing. LOL ;-) Sorry couldn't resist.

I am glad you got some new stuff. It sounds like you had fun shopping. ;-)

I hope your hair turns out really nice. I look like an old hag. I am younger
than Jim but look older. that man is 5 yrs older than me and looks alot
younger. No fair. ;-)

heehee, my dad called them "senility discounts", though he took great delight
in taking advantage of them.

Do you know that senior drinks are half price at MacDonalds (and coffee is
free at Wendy's, but MickeyD's has much better coffee).  Mike legitimately
qualifies as a senior  at M's, but we've learned that with younger counter
help if he orders first, they automatically give me the senior price also,
even though I say nothing at all about getting the senior drink.  We don't
argue with them though  ;) and Mike always orders first!  ;)

another fast food place, though they had some "healthier" options earlier
than some of the others.  The chain was named for the owner's daughter.

Shame you don't have the senior reduction there.  Then again, I don't know
about the UK MacDonalds, but in Italy the food was much better than US ones -
with a great array of salads and rolls and even wine on the menu!  But when
we were in the UK, we mostly ate Indian food and never walked in a
MacDonalds.  (Only did so in Italy when we hit some major holidays down south
and most places were closed.)
