How are you all doing with this heat wave.
I am not doing good. It has me big time.
Today it is suppose to get to 109. We have something monsoonal going on.
Even having the a/c going and laying in front of the fan is not keeping us
cool enough. ;-(
My asthma is activated too because of it for some reason.
I hope this heat wave moves on big time for us all.
Also see other cities are having really bad weather. I feel for us all.
Take care.
Hey firechief how is it going down that way with the heat, fires, and
flooding.

County-wide, Friday, 78 coastal to 96 inland to 113 at Anza Borrego
State Parkt. A couple days it hit triple-digits where Mary & I are
located.
One large fire last week when a truck ran off the highway and
started a brush fire. No flooding. The BIG fires have been north
of us in San Berdoo County. I believe they missed our property
in 29 Palms.
... My brain is my second favorite organ.

We are still just trying to keep as cool as we can which isn't enough for me
but what can you do.
Carole, I hope you do ok with this heat.

It hit 88 here yesterday which is hot for Bellingham, WA. Usually we are
in the 70's. Of course, we don't have air conditioners as we don't
normally need them. But I am managing to stay comfortable with the fan
on. I feel really bad for my friends in NYC. It's mega hot there, they
are having these weird, fierce storms, and they have had no electricity
for 6 days! They have to go out and get ice and even to get that, they
have to travel as there is no where near them to get it. My friend's
father is a diabetic and they are going nuts trying to keep his insulin
refrigerated. Hopefully, Con Ed will get the power back on soon but from
what she's telling me, they don't even know why it's off.

Well Jo...We had Record breaking heat last week...With highs near 110...But
then the weekend brought some relief...now we are climbing back to the
triple digits...
Last week my AC couldn't keep up...So I know ChaChing Chaching...my Electric
bill...I will have to rob a bank to pay it...
We have had like 10 deaths in Oklahoma because of the extreme heat...
Prayers to all in this extreme weather...Remember to check on the elderly,
children...and our four legged members of the family....
Hugs Cindy

Whoa Cindy, I feel for you too. This heat has been something else hasn't it.
That is why I am not much on the puter right now. I get on once a day and
that is about it now.
I know how you feel about the electric bill. I know it will be too much. But
what are you going to do.
We had 25 deaths in three counties here and thousands of livestock died and
animals. We are also losing the farming products too. It is terrible all
around the world right now.
