One dose of Celebrex a day??

Visited a new rheumy. He wants me to start taking 400mg of Celebrex
mid day. Apparently a study showed there is a lesser risk of heart
diease when Celebrex (200mg each capsule) is taken once during the day
instead of twice. I cannot find any mention of this anywhere. Does
anyone know where I might look? I expressed my nervousness about
taking 400mg at once, and I need to see the study before I feel
comfortable following these directions.

Interesting. Couldn't find any info either. Maybe ask the Doc for a
web-site or link?

Thanks for looking. Yes, I plan to ask him for reference to the study.

haven't heard of it, but I having been following Celebrex that closely
lately. It wouldn't work for me - the med only lasted 20 hours or so for me.
I took it twice/day to make sure I always had *some* in my system!

Thanks, Nann. I have a similar problem. I told the RD that I am
really sore if I forget to take my Celebrex on time.
