Comcast managed to make my e-mail account disappear.  Suddenly my
account log in is klioud1.comcast.net instead of mzuschlag.   They
tried to tell me klioud was correct and I had not used mzuschlag for
years. Wrong!   I finally convinced them there was an error.   I was
worried about identity theft but for now mzuschlag just bounces.  So
if you sent me an email that is the problem.  Now I wonder who klioud1
is?

If we had DSL available in our area, we'd have been history a long time ago.
I hate comcast.

Very bad news it looks like identity theft.  A nigerian scammer broke
into my account. -- MZ

Oy.  My brother has offered us accounts on his domain in the past and from
time to time I reconsider it - just because it'd be so hard for anyone to hit
on it by accident.

Yep and one of the things I will probably do is change it to something
totally different than mzuschlag, so it will be much harder to find
and use.   I changed it temporarily but may change it again.
Everything is red tagged but so far nothing seems to be taken from any
accounts.  My firewall is still working and in addition I have a
router, all my passwords are changed to industrial strength.  A less
well known domain might be a good thing.  The other thing I learned is
that gmail will not give out the ip address, so if they try hacking
they can't attempt to contact your computer.

On a better note I thought you might like this story.  Our baseball
couch was recruited by Notre Dame, they made him a dandy offer, over
twice his salary.  OSU made a counter offer with a good raise but not
quite as good as Notre Dame.   There were little signs up all over
town saying how much they appreciate Pat Casey (the coach) and his
family.  Apparently the Governor called him as did many players. Today
he made up his mind and he will be staying at OSU.  This is what he
had to stay:
“It came down to the people who are here,” said Casey, who has turned
down an offer to coach at Notre Dame and will remain with the Beavers.

“I love Corvallis, Oregon and the Northwest,” Casey said, “and the
relationships I have made at Oregon State are very important to me.”
It was unbelievable the amount of support I had from all of you,”
Casey said. “It really blew me away."

It is nice when the home team wins and it doesn't totally revolve
around money, relationships make a difference.   None of those players
has arrest records, used drugs and most are from Oregon.  What a
refreshing change for college athletics, the local underdogs win.  --

Mz,

I sure hope things don't go further than they have for this situation.
Praying for you that all goes well. I am really sorry to hear this had to
happen to you.

Glad to hear about the coach staying. I bet that makes all happy.
