Well it has been over a year now that I am trying to find a good orthodic. I
going to one of the top doctors, he made a cast made me one out of light
plastic that is a little more bendable than the graphite one I did have. The
problem is it is a 3/4 one and I have erosions in the feet and the 3/4 seems
to aggravate them. I took it back he made the heel smaller so it would fit
in more shoes and cut it down a little now it is so narrow that only part of
my foot fits on it and when you put it in a tennis shoe it just doesn't
work.
I am so SICK of dealing with this. Bought myself a pair of meshpisto
sandals, that have a cork foot bed with a ankle strap say they mold to your
feet, will try them.
When I try and walk in my good tennis shoes with out the orthodic, it seems
to kill my back.
I am so tired of all the arthritis stuff and then to top it off with not
finding anything to wear, I just sit in the house cause it hurts to much to
walk or do anything, needless to say I am not doing well maintaining the
weight issues either.
Well thanks for letting me vent,
wishing everyone well,
Becky

Dear Becky,

I always ask to have my orthodics made full sole and double thick.
That means that while the main orthodic is 3/4 it continues under all
toes.  The double thick means that it has foam on top and leather
(suede) on the bottom.  They last and feel great.

Good luck,

just my .00002,

Vickie B.
