The latest update from Arlene's husband just came in: "Arlene is out of
Intensive Care. She is on the medical floor. Off the respirator and
breathing normally. She still requires oxygen and more iv's than I want to
think about. The meds are making her a little spacey with spurts of totally
"off the wall", she has some really starnge dreams and they get mixed in
with reality. She keeps imagining problems with family members and disaster
scenios. It would be funny if she wasn't so sick.
I still have guarded optimisum about the future but it looks like there will
be a future. I'll keep you posted. Please don't stop what you have been
