From Jesse -
"Well here we go again. Arlene is off the respirator and awake. Her
breathing is nearly normal and there doesn't appear to be a lot of damage to
her lungs. Her oxygen assimilation is near normal. She is still on some
heavy duty pain killers so she gets a littlte more "spacey" than usual. Her
kidneys are back up and running, but she still has dialysis to help them
out. She has a lot of fluid retention and this helps to disapate it so they
will keep it going for a while yet. The Dr wants to get her on real food
and there is talk of moving her back to the medical floor, but this is a
while away yet. A lot of the events of the last few weeks seem like a dream
to her so it is hard to sort out reality from fantasy. But then it's that
way for most of us isn't it?
The Dr's keep using words like amazing and unheard of and one is writing a
paper on her case. It is really hard to explain the power of prayer to
people who don't believe in it.Thank all of you for your support and please
don't stop. The trees are getting smaller but we're not out of the woods
yet. May God grant your righteous desires and keep you always in His palm.
Jesse"
