I thought I posted this before but I didn't see it show up.

All day yesterday I was having heart palpatations, skipped heart beats and
thumping. Then last night I thought I was going to get the Big D and
vomitting. I had cramping making me think it was coming on. Also the
coughing was bad from whatever is causing my lungs such grief.

I prayed and prayed that I could get this tooth out. I did.

I was worried when they took bp and pulse and hooked me up to EKG that this
would cancel me out again. But they did it. I am not sure how it went.
He didn't tell me anything. I was too out of it to ask too. ;-)

I go in tomorrow morning at 8 to see how it does.

I am running fever again tonight. So I hope he was able to clear the
infection.

Haven't been able to take any antib's except one the day before yesterday
and one yesterday. Have to eat with them. When  you feel sick and such and
you need to get into the dentist it is hard to push yourself to eat. Can
hardly eat today so not sure if I will even get one in. I am going to ask
him about this in the morning. I can't afford for the infections to get
worse either. I can't afford the drs. I know whine whine whine.

I do have one heck of a knot in my jaw over close to my chin. Not sure if
this is from the TMJ stuff or what and will ask him about that too. I bet he
loves me asking all these questions.

I sure hope this did the trick and now I can finally be on the mend.

I am still have the heart stuff going on but not as bad as yesterday. I am
thinking it might have been anxiety. But I would think that would be over by
now.

I will probably have to tell the new dr I will be going in to on mon. That
is if he does anything for me at all. Sorry after the other ER and walk in
Clinic drs I saw up there I don't have much hope. But that is the only place
I can go till that other clinic opens up.

I couldn't figure out why people were asking on my other threads I had
posted about the dentist, but now after googling and checking I see the one
I thought I posted didn't post. Sorry if it kept you wondering. I really did
think it posted.

Yaaaaaa Jo!!
You have a lot going on and each step in the positive direction is a very
good thing.
Gotta try and keep on schedule with the antib's lest you develop a tolerance
to them.
In the past when I've been prescribed antib's that caused the big D, they
can try a different one or a combination that I tolerate better. Don't know
if this an option for you or not.
Hang in there kiddo.
I did have the opportunity to talk with the "Big Guy" yesterday. Shot pretty
well in fact. Beat the first place team to take over the lead in our
division. Anyway, I requested a miracle for you and help should be on the
way shortly. He had a little paperwork that needed to be done first, but was
to get right on it. If something doesn't improve soon, let me know. I might
have to call Guido and apply a bit of muscle! :-)

Gary,

I can't get on another antib because I am allergic to all the rest. So that
is it for me. Dentist said today I don't have to take them anymore.

Glad you shot pretty well. All right Gary that it is beat the pants of the
teams. Good going. I think he has proformed that miracle.

I kept feeling something inbetween my cheek and gum. Didn't look at the area
yesterday. Got the guts up to do it today and well from what i see it was
bad. My last tooth is now laying on its side. The thing I felt between cheek
and gum is the stitches. It looks like he had to open up the gum from the
wisdom tooth forward to the second tooth from the middle. so it looks like
it had spread out pretty bad. No wonder I didn't feel good. Dah. ;-)

Oh I don't want to hear about anyone applying a bit of muscle. All mine are
sore it wouldn't take much to do mine in. LOL ;-0

I knew what you mean though, just picking on  you.

By the way the 0 is my swollen mouth and the mouth that won't keep shut. LOL

Actually it is hard to open the mouth, but that still doesn't stop me from
talking a blue streak. ;-)

Try a little bread with the antiB. It isn't much, but you gotta get the meds
inside. I sure hope this clears you up so you can start feeling good again!

Just got back from the dentist. He said I can stop the antib. He had to cut
some of the infection out. That is why I have this big knot toward chin in
the jaw bone area. It must have traveled away.

He said all looks good and that I have to come back next Thur to get
stitches out. He said I should feel great soon.

Jo, so very glad you are this far along with the tooth gone!  Pray it will
heal beautifully and that there will be no more infection anywhere in your
body.

So glad!!!

Were the abx for the abscessed tooth, the UTI. or both? If its the UTI,
should you stop taking them?

I'm sorry I misunderstood re the ER visits. Is the dehydration thing any
better? Can you suck on crushed ice? How about Pedialyte ice pops?

Adelle
Squirrely - 07 Jul 2006 23:10 GMT
I was on antib for the UTI, it was strickly an antib for bladders. Finished
it up finally last Week. Then got diahrea and the dentist said not to take
the antib he prescribed until three or four days later. Which I started on
Tues took one then Wed took one because couldn't eat and you have to eat
with them.

Dentist said this morning not to take them, he got all the infection, and
since they bothered my tummy so much it would do more damage to me.

Dehydation is from adrenal issues that have not been addressed properly from
any dr I have seen. I am drinking two bottles of pedialtye a day. So I try
to stay hydrated that way but just having a fever or sweating bad from this
heat or anything like that can dehydrate me.

The ER said the UTI was gone when I went there the other day and they did
nothing.

They gave me iv fluids at dentist yesterday too or so they say they did. I
was out so I don't know ;-)

YAY, SJ!  Rest and feel better soon!

Hugs and Prayers,

Squirrely - 07 Jul 2006 17:43 GMT
I am Carole,

Feeling some better today so far. Not too much pain so just using tylenol
instead of the vicidan.

So I hope this was all the problem and now I can finally mend, heal, and get
better.

But then again after being down for long, I don't know if I remember how to
act if I am feeling half way decent. LOL ;-)

Hooray, hooray! That should help your general well-being considerably.

> Haven't been able to take any antib's except one the day before yesterday

A glass of milk will often do for food for taking meds...and helps wash
them down too. ;-) Just a thought.
Squirrely - 07 Jul 2006 18:36 GMT
Thanks Bud,

on the milk though, I have a milk intolerance. So can't do milk. As it was I
was pushing my luck with cheese and now it is catching up with me too.

I hope the healing starts now and all will be ok. I am looking forward to
it.
It has been a rough and trying road to walk. But now I am sure I will
overcome. I kept thinking that during it but there were days I was wondering
if I really would.

start feeling better quickly. what a miserable few weeks!

Hi daughter,

Forget the antibiotics for now since they just mess up your gut. You
should be rinsing your mouth with peroxide every few hrs until the gum
infection is cleared up. Brushing with baking soda & peroxide are the
best things for tooth & gum health. :-)

Relax & take deep belly breaths to stop the heart palpations.

Sending Good Thoughts,

Dad I am trying. I will see about doing the peroxide, right now I am so
nauseous I can't do anything.

I think it is from the blood in tummy from the extraction or I ate banana
and apple sauce yesterday. (soft foods that don't like me)
