Spent all damn day at the ER for no reason at all. They did nothing, nothing
at all. Told me to take the antib the dentist gave me and that I was find.
All they did was run a urine test.

So I am too tired to fight anymore. I give up. Thats it. Whatever happens
happens. I can't waste money like this for them to do nothing.

She torn me down so far I doubt I will ever get up.

I have to pay for this, for nothing being done, for ending up in 10 pain and
not  doing a bit better.  What a crock.

I will try to catch up when I can and if I can. I have to find some strength
though.

I will talk to you all more about this sometime but not right now.  I just
don't have the energy.

Besides that i am having a major allergy attack, my skin is breaking out for
the last few days with I don't know what the heck. It is not my usually
allergy attack.
I am having asthma attacks on top of everything else.

So I am down for the  count for now.

Jo!!
I leave town for a couple of days and look what you do! Can't leave you
alone for a minute!
Sorry to hear about all this, I will speak to God about all this......he
listens to me.... (ya, right!)
I usually only talk to Him on the golf course (lol), but I think this calls
for a special appointment.
Hang in there kiddo 'till I can have a word with Him.

Well anything Gary for you to get in a golf game. If you need another one,
let me know and I will help you get there.
;-)

Yeah I know i act up when you are not watching me. You know the mice play
while the cat is away. LOL ;-)

I have a better outlook this morning. I think the antib might be finally
helping, I hope. The feverish feeling is gone for now. The congestion is
coming out. So I think this might have been a turning point finally. I hope
I don't get the runs again from this antib and it messes up my oral surgery
on Thurs. I need this tooth out.

I had a word with him yesterday and last night and it was a pleasant word. I
told him ok if this is what you want and you want to take me out well then
do it. I don't think that is what he had planned.

I don't usually get upset with him, but this has gone on too too long. I
have been sick for months and I think this is all tied in together and just
didn't know it at the time.

Ah, Squirrely, sounds as if you need a compassionate nurse. I am on my way. It's
a virtual trip, you know, just look up and you'll see me in the corner, bringing
good vibes. Feel better soon.

SJ, please don't worry about not answering personal email.  All of us know
how hard you have been having to fight all the things that have gone wrong
with your body, plus the worry about finances.  Just let the NG know how you
are doing when you can.  Hope nothing stops the tooth removal on Thursday
and that helps everything else get better.  God does answer prayer, but at
times not like we wish He would.  Keep the faith; things will get better.
Prayers continue for you and Jim.

Thanks Gwen,

I am trying today to get caught up since I do feel a tad better if only my
heart beat would settle down. I am not sure if it is the anxiety of the
surgery, my asthma stuff or dehyration stuff, but treating two out of the
three to see if I can get it settled back down.

Thats why I am on here today answering emails and posts too. Trying to keep
my mind preoccupied. ;-)

The gums to the front of my mouth are now sore so it is hard to eat much at
all. So I really do want this tooth out.

I know things will get better. With the ASA prayer machine behind me how
could they not. ;-)

Yes,,, yes,,,,   I need an update.   How did it go????

Harv,

They killed me. LOL ;-)

No it went ok. They didn't put me totally out though which is what they were
suppose to do. But it did the job anyways. Tooth is finally out.

Didn't think it was going to get there though. Yesterday all day I had
skipped heart beats, thumping heart, rapid heart beats, and it was scaring
me to death. Then last night felt like I was going to get the Big D back and
get sick to tummy. But I made it thru and didn't.
They did my bp and pulse and ekg thingy and they still did it so it worked.
I was so afraid all that was going on with the heart stuff it would make
them cancel again.

I am still bleeding. Came home at 9. Some of the numbness and tingling have
gone. But I have this weird feeling up the side of my sinuses and up pass
the side of the eye going up into the head, but I think that is the
swelling. I haven't iced yet.

Going to do it in a few minutes.

Sounds like a good idea.   I am glad you had the strength to do what needed
to be done.   Ice,,, a good idea.

Don't mean to be harsh, but it sounds to me they are either not taking you
seriously, or perhaps what you are feeling is simply part of the process and
can't be treated in an emergant care situation, just endured.

Doctors who know you and know your history can then get the big picture of
how all the 'smaller' things affect one another and create a cascade. But
doctors in the ER are looking for the big things - how are the major organs
functioning? Anything that might escalate to need immediate intervention
(airways, surgery, etc.).

Well, that may be why they suspect you are simply a 'frequent flyer.' When
you go to the ER several times in a short time span and see a different doc
each time, then are also asking for pain meds - the cynical by nature
residents might think you are simply trying to get extra pain meds. It's the
arrogance of youth combined with real experience on their part. They see it
several times a day, so distinguishing the person in real need from the
person trying to play them is very difficult.

Any regular doctor who knows you who might write an rx for you?

Hope the tooth is being taken out and all is on the upswing. Wishing you a
better and easier time.

Sending hugs!

Adelle,

I had gone in because the fever went back up again, which meant something
was not working right with the antib, and I was dehydrated.

The problem with my health issues is because of the hypothryoid, it doesn't
show on tests how dehydrated I am. Usually for the hypoT person the sodium
and potassium show normal even when the person is dehydrated.

I wasn't after pain meds. Didn't even mention pain except when the triage
nurse asked on the pain scale how much pain do you have and I said 6-7. By
the time I left it was a 10 and screaming though. I never ask for pain meds
because of my allergies.

I also needed either solumedrol or pred because of the asthma attack which
the triage nurse could hear was happening but the dr couldn't. Shoot I could
hear myself wheezing without a stephicope (SP) and she couldn't hear it with
one. Dah.

I don't have a regular dr yet. Suppose to get one on Mon. So that is why I
had to use ER. Havent had one for two years now since we lost Kaiser
insurance and can't get any other.

Tooth came out today.
