From Arlene's husband:
"Well now it looks like I have been crying "Wolf". Arlene's condition has
taken a dramatic turn for the better. She is still on the respirator and
dialysis, but she has improved her breathing and her kidneys are responding.
Her bone marrow is back in business and doing the platelet thing . She is by
no means out of the woods but the edge may be in site. I can't help but feel
this is significant. That may be foolish but let's don't rain on the parade.
She was responsive this evening and we held the first two way conversation
in 3 weeks. She is still taking massive pain meds and antibiotics. But I
guess it works better if you know what you are fighting. Ya ThinK???
Jess"
I am so relieved!! I appreciate all the prayers and ask that you continue
them. I can't wait to hear that Arlene has been released from all the
hospitals and is in her own home continuing her recovery.

Oh, DeeTee, I was fighting a migraine over the weekend, but when I saw this
subject heading yesterday, my heart lept! I hoped it meant exactly what it
means. Such wonderful news!
Rass on to Jess that he wasn't crying "Wolf", he was marshalling the troops
to drive away the wolf! She's staying in my prayers and please keep us
posted.
