Patty's daughter Allison was in a auto accident on Thursday night with
four other girls. She was driving. One girl has a concussion, one a
broken arm (sam), and Allison is badly bruised has a chest abrasion and
some other injuries. OF course everyone is badly shaken emotionally
I think Patty and Allison would be grateful for prayers right now.

On the way for everyone involved M.
Good to see you post. We are finally on this coast and I am happy. John
is okay. Jen is happy and Jeff is well, Jeff. Actually I think he is
happy too. He also has a job now with benefits and that is good.

Good to see you posting Rose and nice to see your union settled! Hopefully
it will prove to be a decent deal for everyone involved. Must be nice to be
finished school right now - those last 2 weeks are always hectic.
When do you go to the states?

Hi Kelly,
Thanks for asking.
I am leaving at 10:30 or so on the 18th from Kelowna and will arrive
in Baltimore at 10:30. That does not sound too bad to me for the
distance involved. I am so looking forward to it.
I was so happy to hear we had settled. I listened to the news last
night and wished there was someone I could call, but it was too late.
Another summer with a strike looming over our heads would have been
too much. Two weeks walking the picket line and resulting lost wages
last fall was too much, having to do it all again- unthinkable. It was
a huge relief.
The last two weeks were crazy as I had assumed a lot of extra
responsibility, and then I had a group project in my course. I have
the big assignment to complete by Monday, and that will be another
course under my belt.
Tuesday I go to Vancouver to, hopefully, get my custom-made shoes.
Last time I went my toes were still falling off the right shoe, so he
needed to start all over on that one.
I have been planning to give you a call, but with everything I have
had to do I have tended to start work right after school, and the next
time I look it is close to bedtime.
Will call later this week or early next week before I go.

Rose,
I am glad the strike didn't happen. I hope you have safe travels and enjoy
the stay in MD.
Boy I am tired just reading about all you are doing.
Hugs to you

they are in my prayers, all of the passengers as well as Patty and Allison.
It's upsetting and difficult, but thank God no one died. That is such a

Oh my goodness!!!
Prayers for all of the kids and their families during this most
stressful and scary time!!!
Like Nann said, though, thank goodness all the kids survived and thank
goodness that the injuries weren't more serious. Scary stuff though and
I'm sure all will be shaken up for quite some time.
