"As of tonight,(June 27 2006), Arlene is unable to breath without a machine.
She does not respond to outside stimuli. On the positive side the anti
biotic is working on the Histo. Her white count is returning and her bone
marrow is regenerating. The doctors are optimistic about the future. Of
course that is what they do or go nuts. There is still less than a 50-50
chance of recovery. She is a tough old bird tho' so I haven't given up. But
that is what I do or go nuts. I'll keep you all as up to date as possible I
guess if it needs to be sugar coated call Hershey. I'll let you folks in
Utah use your own judgement on Helen. Please be gentle,but be fair. Stress
there is nothing she can do but what we are all doing and that is pray. Also
it would be prudent to temper your prayers with mercy and prudence. The
family put this in God's hands some time ago and all any of us can do is
trust in Him.. Bless you all.. Jesse"

I'm encouraged that her bone marrow is regenerating and the white count
climbing. It's possible...  All any of us can do is keep praying for her.
