Last week the primary doc sent me to have the ANA and the Rheumatoid
Arthritis Factor blood tests done. They both came back Normal. He told me
that doesn't mean I don't have it, I just not in a bad enough flare at this
point for it to show. He is concerned that I'm still so swollen mostly in
my feet and ankles. He is sending me for a urinalysis again to see if I'm
losing proteins. He is concerned that I can not see the Rheumotologist til
the 20th of July, Nothing he can do about that one but keep bringing me in
to his office until then. He gave me more Celebrex and another prescription
for percocet.
If I don't take the percocet every 4 hours I get so stiff I can not move
with in 30 mins of it coming out of my system. I still can't wear my
wedding rings because my fingers are still swelled up and still having
issues getting out of bed in the morning but they are starting to get a bit
better. (lol, won't tell my hubby this though.)

Jennifer, This so closely mirrors my own experience with RA. My
right foot swelled and then my left. My primary had to argue the
rheumy for an earlier appointment. But my RA factor didn't show up for
1 1/2 years!
Take care,

Jennifer,
I have had a positive ANA but most of the other tests that they do always
come back normal on me, as well as others. Call and see if you can get on a
cancellation list and maybe they could work you in sooner.
Good luck
Becky
